Just as the foundation was poured, the client realized: "This is not the house we want". Working with Barbara Scavullo Design and Karin Payson Architecture and Design, Linda Herman lead the effort for redesign while maintaining the construction schedule and budget. We assisted the client through all the many decisions required of a custom designed home, monitored the budget and worked closely with the contractor, delivering documentation so they could keep to their schedule. Both the contractor and architect agreed it was the “best team effort” they had experienced. The result: a grand yet intimate family home that is the house the client wanted.
